R<\/strong>esearch is the continual Search for truth using scientific methods. It includes search of a problem, collection of data as evidence organization, classification and analysis of that into a logical pattern. use of reasoning and statistical analysis to solve the problem and finally arriving at a conclusion or solution to the problem. Health education comprises of consciously constructed opportunities for learning to improve health literacy including improving knowledge and developing life skills which are conducive to individual and community health. Health literacy on the other hand represents the cognitive and social skills which determine the motivation and ability of individuals to gain access to understand and use information in a way which promotes and maintains good health. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of people.<\/div>

Research functionally can be divided into basic and applied research with the intent of basic research being more for the search of knowledge while applied being problem oriented and directed towards the solution of an existing problem. The Faculty of Dentistry at Saraswati-Dhanwantari Dental College & Hospital & Post-Graduate Research Institute, Parbhani strives to be an international leader in generating applying and disseminating new dental knowledge and skills for the benefit of all. As such research is given high priority and is fully integrated with teaching and clinical activities.<\/p>

The Faculty of Dentistry has centralized research facilities to provide access to major pieces of equipment and technical expertise. These facilities allow students access to essential scientific infrastructure.<\/p>

Characterized by a tradition of innovation the research at the institute has broken new ground pushed forward the boundaries of knowledge and made an impact on people’s lives.<\/p>

The Clinical Research and Ethics Committee (CREC) helps to ensure clinical research projects and in particular clinical trails being conducted are in line with the regulations of international and University standards.<\/p>

The Faculty in the institute develops and maintains Quality Management Systems to assist students in the conduct of their research projects in addition, it performs quality checks monitoring visits and audits across the portfolio of clinical research projects and provides training to students and directs them to external training as and when required.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
